Generosity in Action
Dear travel enthusiast:
Whether you are a traveler, travel promoter, or tour operator you come upon situations where you want to help. You realize that for a small amount you can make a significant contribution to the standard of living for people in countries you visit.
Generosity in Action was created to help respond to travelers desire to contribute. We encourage the project to be created, offer guidelines for developing a project and provide a vehicle for the traveler to donate to the project and receive confirmation that their donation is tax-deductible.
Please take a moment to review this website and review some of the projects that have been done through Generosity in Action. We are particularily proud of a number of projects that we have undertaken in Burma. If you are a tour operator please consider developing a program on one of your trips. I encourage you to look at the many contributions made by the travelers of Bushtracks. Lodges and hotels that have projects that support local schools will be interested in the efforts of Robin Pope Safaris and Norman Carr Safaris in Africa. They are using Generosity in Action to facilitate donations from US clinets to their school projects. If you are a traveler please consider donating to any one of the projects or to Generosity In Action in general.
